Tennis fans take note; the French Open at the Stade Roland Garros will take place from September 21st to October 11th, 2020, having been delayed from late spring due to the health crisis. While attending this great sporting event, why not stay in a sublime room embodying the Art Deco spirit at the Hotel Eiffel Blomet, not far from the stadium?

The French Open 2020; some preventive measures

The 124th French Open will be held as usual at the Stade Roland Garros, Avenue Gordon Bennett, Paris, and spectators can attend. The qualifying rounds of the world’s greatest clay court tournament will take place from Monday September 21st to Friday September 25th and the main event from Sunday September 27th to October 11th, a week more than previous editions. However, admission will be limited to a maximum of 20,000 people per day due to the recommended social distancing and hygiene measures.

Over 200 players scheduled to take part

While the online ticket office has been open to the public since July 16th, the list of competitors has only now been finalised. Among the 104 players in the men's singles competition, you’ll have the pleasure of seeing Rafael Nadal, French Open title holder and twelve times winner. Other big names scheduled to play include Novak Djokovic and Gaël Monfils. On the women's side, 108 players enter the main draw, including Serena Williams and Australia’s Ashleigh Barty, who will be defending her women’s singles title.
