From February 27th to March 6th, Paris struts to the rhythm of Fashion Week. The most emblematic monuments of the capital will set up podiums and catwalks. As for aficionados and others with their fingers on the pulse of the latest trends, they have already prepared their most eye-catching outfits and are ready to slip into the front ranks to get a better view of the parades.

A dream setting

As every year - and even several times throughout the year - the most beautiful monuments of Paris put their most brilliant finery in the service of fashion as they host the shows. Boots, pumps, sandals, and heels by the dozens will tread the runways installed at the Institute of the Arab World, the Oratory of the Louvre, the Pompidou Centre, the Salle Pleyel or under the splendid iron and glass roof of the Grand Palais.

Magical moments

The biggest names in haute couture will be present during this week dedicated to ready-to-wear. Chanel, Dior, Mugler, Balmain, Lacroix; all will set the tone for the 2018 trends. Will length be in the spotlight, or will the mini-skirt will be revisited? Will garments be worn close to the body where the cut will be fluid? The secrets are well-kept for the moment, warm in the changing rooms where chignons are polished, and lace is adjusted. The leg slides into the material, the little hat is now perfectly held on the tamed hair, the earrings add a final touch. Everything is ready. In the hall is the silence of anticipation. Let the parade begin!
